Berlin Atonal is an annual festival for sonic and visual art in two distinct stages. It first took place between 1982 and 1990, relaunching in 2013 under a new direction and continuing to the present day. The festival presents contemporary projects at the intersection of sound art, visual and media art, installation, and performance, emphasizing commissioned work and world premieres. I developed the concepts “ Noise, Dimension, and Abstract” by getting inspired by the rhythm and beats from their unique atonal music and interactive visual arts.
I started working on a bitmap system to create a logotype. The dimensional visual art on the stage that interacts with music and performance is also a key feature of this concert, so I turned the logo into 3D and built the visual system based on the cube.
